Start with the record you actually need
Use this worksheet as the index to your recovery file. It is most helpful when several people are calling, issuing documents or asking for decisions. You do not need every answer before starting. Record known information, mark unanswered questions and identify the person who can resolve each one.
Keep original photographs, reports, invoices and correspondence separately. Put a short reference to each document here so someone reviewing the file can find the underlying evidence. Do not paste access codes, financial identifiers or another person’s private information into the worksheet.
A useful entry separates proposal from approval
| Weak entry | More useful record |
|---|---|
| Kitchen work approved | 12 October · owner approved contractor scope revision 2 for the listed kitchen cleaning work; rebuilding excluded. |
| Drying done | Contractor supplied dated readings and target explanation for the listed areas; closure decision awaiting project lead review. |
| Insurer will pay | Adjuster requested proposal revision and supporting photographs; coverage question remains open. |
The examples show a recording format. They are not findings or approvals for an actual property.
Build your project record
Review and save deliberately
- Expand the sections that match your current work and enter the information you know.
- Use “Review every entered field” to see the complete record, including blanks.
- Download a text or JSON copy for your own file before leaving the page.
- Use the enquiry handoff only if you want to discuss the record with HAUSE. You will review the draft again and choose whether to send.
Downloading creates a file on your device. It does not send it to HAUSE. The form itself is not a replacement for secure storage of a claim file. See the privacy notice for browser storage and enquiry handling.
